Gabe and Julianna at Pigeon Lake on our way to Arnold's. It was plus one billion degrees the second time we drove out to Arnold's, so we stopped for a quick toe-dip in the lake.
This book is the result of an Alberta journey we embarked upon this past summer. We selected 9 regional farm families and hit the road. On the way we collected photos, stories, philosophies, and of course, recipes. In this book we hope to present their food and our journey in a genuine and human, sophisticated way with a touch of humour and whimsy.
